The Archdiocesan Black History Month Mass is held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on the first Sunday in February. This day is also recognized as the National Day of Prayer for the African American and African Family. This year the theme “Serving Our Brothers & Sisters: Our Calling, Our Opportunity, Our Legacy” will recognize the great contributions of the Historically Black Greek Letter Organizations (Divine 9), especially in terms of their presence and leadership in our community over the years.
