Hello Inklings! Published 205 years ago, Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is beloved. The works of Jane Austen have been the inspiration of numerous contemporary books and films, both adaptations and new original works from the BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice starring Colin Firth to the The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, an Emmy winning YouTube adaption. We will discuss this complicated love story in one session.

Leading this discussion will be Ryan Vera, 2nd year PhD in English at the CUNY Graduate Center. His specialties include Victorian Lit, Gothic Lit, Pop Culture, & Ecocritical Studies. Ryan Vera is a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Baruch College. He is also a Lay Dominican.

Seeking imaginative-minded spirits to join us for informal, convivial meetings. Invite a friend!
