Join CatholicNYC for a “You Did It To Me” homeless outreach evening. Taken from the Gospel Matthew 25:31-40 and as Mother Teresa called it, the “5 finger prayer”. Come out to meet our brothers and sisters living on the surrounding streets and invite them to share pizza with us. Please bring with you one pair (or more) of new warm socks along with any other toiletries or warm apparel to offer to anyone in need. We will meet at the statue of George Washington.

Does your schedule usually prevent you from being able to be involved? No worries, we are also in need of volunteers who can commit to being prayer partners of the “You Did It To Me” outings. Prayer partners will be sent a list of names of the sisters and brothers we meet on the street and asked to pray specifically for each person at some point over the coming weeks. This can be having a Mass said, offering a rosary, or however you would like to remember these valued members of our community in prayer.
