Discussion & Discipleship

April 26, 2019 @ 7:15 pm - 9:15 pm EDT

Why does the Church believe that? How can I explain this to others? D&D is a collaborative group where young adults come together to work through tough issues of politics, culture, science, law, and philosophy, all from the Catholic perspective! This month’s topic is Racism. The readings are (1) sections 17, 19, 23-25 from The Church and Racism (The Pontifical Council on Justice and Peace) found here; and (2) pages 21-23 from Open Wide Our Hearts (USCCB Pastoral Letter) found here. Participants are required to read the material prior to the meeting. Please join for pizza and fellowship, followed by drinks at a local establishment. Check out the Facebook invite!
Led by the Public Policy Office of the Archdiocese of NY. RSVP required to Alexis.Carra@archny.org.
