The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement invite you to join them on an Italian Pilgrimage “Dreams and Devotions: in Honor of Our Lady” from October 5 – 16, 2015.

Travel from New York to Palermo by plane, then take an overnight cruise to Monreale, then Naples and Ischia, Pompeii, Lenola and Assisi. The trip ends with two days in Rome. In each city you will visit cathedrals, basilicas and chapels that honor Our Blessed Mother. In Rome, you will visit St. Peter’s Basilica for an audience with Pope Francis, followed by a visit to the Sistine Chapel and incomparable Vatican Museum. The final full day in Rome includes Mass at the Basilica of St. Mary Major (Santa Maria Maggiore), which houses a relic from the manger of Infant Jesus.

Throughout the pilgrimage, there will be opportunities to pray and reflect as pilgrims under the spiritual leadership of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, as well as to enjoy the wonderful sites, history, people, shopping and food that Italy has to offer.
