Immigration: A Catholic Perspective

Theology and Religious Studies at St. John’s University), Rev. James Martin, S.J. (Editor at Large for America Media), and C. Mario Russell (Director,
Immigrant and Refugee Services for Catholic Charities Community Services) for a discussion on one of the most dominant issues on the sociopolitical spectrum—immigration—examined through the lens of Catholic teaching and spirituality.

This event will be moderated by Dr. Anna Brown, Associate Professor and Chair,
Political Science, at St. Peter’s University.
