On Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 5:00 P.M., Father Christopher Salvatori S.A.C., Parochial Vicar will offer the Traditional Latin Sung Mass, 1962 MR-EF for the 13th Sunday after Pentecost. This Mass is being offered in Honor of Our Lady of Vailankanni, one of the Titles of Our Lady in India. The Sacred Image of our Lady of Vailankanni will be borne in Procession during the 72nd Annual Indian Independence Day Parade beginning at 12 Noon on Madison Avenue, between 38th Street and 25th Street. At the Conclusion of the Parade, the Statue will be brought to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for Prayers of Thanksgiving followed by the Mass. All are welcome to March with the Statue at the Parade and attend the Mass.
