The convocation will take place at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in New York City from August 1-4, 2019 and is open to young adults of any religion age 18-35. The cost is $150 to attend.
Hosted by the Eparchy of Passaic’s young adult ministry, Theosis in Action, this 4-day convocation for young adults will focus on the theme of the Transfiguration and being sent forth into the world as disciples.
The convocation’s keynote speakers include Father Boniface Hicks, OSB, host of We Are One Body Catholic Radio; Mother Gabriella Houck of the Sisters of Christ the Bridegroom monastery; and Nick Redd, a motivational speaker. The program will also include an afternoon of sightseeing in New York City.
Concluding on the Feast of the Transfiguration, participants will be challenged to recognize their own call to discipleship in light of the Transfiguration. Participants will also have opportunities to reflect, attend Divine Liturgy, and connect with other young adults throughout the convocation.
