The Person Project (TPP) is an exploration of the most urgent question of the 21st century: What–and who–is the human person? The answer to this question shapes all understanding of reality—understanding of myself, of the world, of how I relate to it, and how I respond to it. The answer to the question also shapes all cultural, social, and political infrastructure, and a clear answer is readily required.

Session #2 in NYC will cover the following modules:

C. Affectivity & Heart: A significant part of the human life lies in the human response to the world, and the capacity to recognize within it a hierarchy of value. These functions of the person arise out of the affective life, which is ultimately a life of the heart.

D. Body & Sexuality: The human person is a body-soul composite. The person’s interior life is framed, to a significant extent, by the life of his body; the body works to shape the interiority of the person, and then the interiority of the person is revealed through his body. The most deeply defining character to the life of the body is the character of human sexuality.
