My roommate and I (both mid/late 20s female Catholic young professionals) are looking for another female roommate to fill one bedroom in our spacious, peaceful three bedroom apartment in Woodlawn. We are generally clean, responsible, respectful, and friendly, and we hope that you are as well!
The neighborhood is mostly Irish-American, and is safe at all hours of the day and night. Our apartment is on the top floor of our easygoing landlord’s home. Laundromat is directly across the street, grocery store is a few blocks away.
We have easy access to both Manhattan and Westchester via public transit. It is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute bus ride (the bus stop is right in front of our apartment…) to the Woodlawn 4 Train Station or a 10-minute walk to the Woodlawn MetroNorth Station. We also have free on-street parking.
Our rental is month-to-month, but we are ideally looking for you to make a longer commitment. Rent is $550/month each plus utilities (usually about $60/month each).
Available to move in beginning of July. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested; we would love to provide more details/pictures or meet you for coffee!

We DEFINITELY are looking for a hard move-in date of June 1. First month and deposit due at time of move in.
My roommate is moving out June 1st, so I am looking for a kind, friendly, and considerate CF to move into our cute, plant-filled 2-person/2br apartment in the heart of Astoria. The apartment is in a fantastic location right off of Broadway, and is just a short walk to both the N/W and R/M trains, with a laundromat, grocery store, and gym around the corner, and the best assortment of shops and restaurants nearby. Rent is $900/month + utilities.
About me: I am a nonprofit professional in my late-20s, am clean and laid back, and love that the apartment is a cozy and comfortable place to come home to at the end of the day. I am very friendly and wouldn’t mind a roommate to watch a film or share a happy hour with every now and again! However, I also understand the need for alone time, and am incredibly respectful of boundaries.
Please feel free to respond back with a little about yourself. Looking forward to meeting you! 🙂
