Hello! I’m looking for someone to take over my lease for a room in a 3 bedroom/2 bath Astoria apartment starting either sometime in October or early November. The room is bright, a great size, and shares a bathroom with one other girl. Roommates are both Christian females. Cost is $875/month. Super close to N/W train, groceries, laundry, restaurants, etc.
Hello!
My name is Irisa and we are looking for a female to take over a single room in our 3BR/2 BTH apt in the UES.
– It has a closet and your own private bathroom, as well as lots of direct sunlight.
– Near the 4,5,6
– $1300/month
– Pre-furnished
– Available July 15
IDetails and photos of the apartment can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1z0eQyERF2tPQOgdNxDTXRqjZ9kxYb4JqWdprItMn-Ys/edit
Hi, my name is Tom. I’m in a great apartment in East Harlem, and would love to hear from you if you’re interested:
– 3 BR / 1 BA, railroad layout (i.e. no bedrooms sharing walls, good privacy)
– Washer, dryer, & dishwasher !!
– Renovated 3 years ago, 3rd floor of 5-story walk-up
– Next door to a park, so TONS of natural light & every window with a view of trees, playground, and basketball courts
– many tenants are family relatives so most everyone in the building knows each other (i.e. packages never stolen, grandmotherly ladies welcoming you on front steps!)
Walking Distance:
+ 3 min to subway 6 (the 4 is two stops away)
+ 12 min to Q line
+ 8 min to Mt. Sinai Hospital
+ 8 min to Central Park
+ 10 min to East River Walk/Randall’s Island
+ 3 min to two grocery stores
Rent would be $1,150 + ~$50 utilities/electric (heat and water included).
Lease would start Sept 1.
I really liked the community my roommates and I formed, where we would often share meals/cooking (2-3 times a week) and linger in conversation, without the expectation or pressure to do so. I’d like to find roommates with a similar vision of communal living, who speak their minds when tensions arise, and who are clean and respectful.
Since one roommate had to leave suddenly due to a family emergency, and the other is looking at graduate housing, I’m looking to fill two rooms. I strongly prefer guys but I’ve lived in coed housing before for three years and it can work if the respect, privacy, and right personalities are there. If the apartment sounds good but you’re concerned about coed living, I’d be happy to connect you with my current female roommate who would give you her honest experience of living with me this past year.
I’m a middle school teacher who loves deep conversations, basketball, dabbling on mandolin, and exploring the city. I’m also a decent cook. No drugs, no drama, and authentically interested in people.
If you think this might be a good fit for you, send me a message and we can connect soon.
Have a great day! – Tom

Room available for CF in Spacious, 3 Bedroom Apartment in Williamsburg
We will have a room available in our 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Apartment beginning July 1. The apartment is incredibly spacious and bright, with an open concept living room, separate dining alcove, balcony, and a large, well-appointed kitchen. Each bedroom is a good size and has ample closet space, (in addition to a basement storage room). The master bedroom has a private bath, so you don’t have to share.
We would prefer someone who is looking to stay long term, though we understand that many things are up in the air right now.
Location: The apartment is three blocks from the Graham Ave L train, twelve minutes to Union Square. The G is a twelve minute walk at Metropolitan.
The neighborhood is traditionally Italian and has a nice mix of families and young professionals. There are great bars, restaurants and coffee shops within two blocks. The neighborhood has excellent grocery stores, bakeries and specialty stores as well. There are three lovely parks, two within close walking distance, all with farmer’s markets and activities. The waterfront is a thirty minute walk or ten minute drive. Our local parish also has adoration every day and in the evening.
We would love to find someone who we could share dinners and activities with, while also respecting privacy and alone time. We are tidy, do not smoke and have no pets.
Please reach out to us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!!
