The apartment is a 5th floor walkup and has a decent sized bathroom, kitchen, and large living space. Rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Apt is located a one block radius from a grocery store, laundromat, CitiBike station, the A/C subway line, bus stations, library, restaurants and more. Short walk to the 1 train and easy to connect with the B/D line.
Your roommate would be another CF, Emily (who is awesome!). Contact maddykearns@gmail.com or emilychristine25@gmail.com for more pictures, info, or to set up a time to chat.
We are looking for a Christian female roommate to fill the lease on the 4bd/2bth apartment where 3 of us currently live. I have attached a picture of the place for you to view and can send more on request.
Along with rent there is a deposit of the same amount ($971). Our utilities and internet are separate, but usually cost about $30-$45 per person each month (fluctuates with the seasons). When completing the rental application, there is also a $100 non-refundable fee to the building company.
The apartment is a converted basement that was recently renovated in an building in Crown Heights. It has a quite large, open living room/kitchen space, as well as lots of cabinet and closet space. The apartment is located in a fantastic area off an express stop (2/3/4/5 subway lines) with easy access to the city and pretty much any subway line (via transfer). There was also a bus stop right near our apartment and the Nostrand LIRR is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is also close to Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Botanical Garden as well as a ton of organic grocery stores, restaurants and cafes! I really love the place/location and the layout of the apartment as well!
The other 2 roommates are in their 20s and attend Redeemer Downtown and Neighborhood Church (also downtown). Hannah works in publishing and enjoys baking and Kyla works in finance and enjoys running! They are both fantastic. I am in my 30s and work at an advertising company in the HR dept. I’m pretty active and also love to bake and work out 🙂
Please let me know if you need any additional information. If you’d like we can also set up a call for a “FaceTime tour” of the place. Since I am working from home indefinitely, I am available throughout the week.
Huge Furnished basement available in the downstairs of a four bedroom apartment in Crown Heights. Steps from the S train that connects you to C, 4/5, B/Q trains and walking distance to many restaurants/shops and Prospect Park! Christian tenants, so no sleep overs of the opposite sex. Upstairs are the other three tenants and the bathroom we all share. One married couple with a (Very good and quiet) four month old baby, and a single woman who works 9-6. Ideally looking for someone to stay through (at least) May, but month to month is a possibility. Reach out if this interests you and we can meet! Blessings!
