I’m looking for someone to take my extremely large private bed/bath on the UWS, available starting July 1st. It’s located at 95th & Amsterdam (two blocks from Central Park, B/C lines and one short block from 1,2,3 lines), 5th floor walkup in a recently renovated building. Not available as a share. The room is very large – not just by Manhattan standards – it fits a queen size bed, dresser, desk and probably more with still tons of space leftover, and it has with a deep loft that can fit an extra bed or can be used as storage. The bathroom is also large with a room length shower and lots of storage under the sink and behind the mirror. The apartment is floor-through so the two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the unit allowing for lots of privacy. The kitchen is normal NYC sized but completely functional (brand new stove last year) and includes a dishwasher! The common space is furnished, and there is another large loft in the living room also available for storage. My roommate has a very small and cute 20-lb dog named Otis. He’s adorable, does not shed, is very friendly and mostly hangs out quietly with my roommate. The area is awesome – express subway stop; 3 CVS/Duane Reade/Walgreens within a block; Whole Foods two blocks away; tons of restaurants; and 10 mins to Times Square. My roommate is 31 years old, very low-key, and keeps the apartment nice and clean. She is not very large-party oriented and is looking for the same.
