Catholic woman seeks female roommate starting June 1st to share nicely decorated 2 bedroom apartment on East 85th between East End and York. The available bedroom is huge. The apartment is rent-stabilized in a pre-War elevator building, so this is a great deal.
The building is near Carl Schurz park. The apartment is bright with lots of greenery to be seen through the ground floor windows. The available bedroom is 17 ft by 10.5 ft with high ceilings, plus a small entrance area. The room is lightly furnished with a single bed, a table and chair and bookshelves and a large walk-in closet (see photo). If you prefer, you can furnish it yourself.
I am a 60-year-old woman and an Ivy League graduate. I am the host of a Catholic radio show and a tutor. I am very considerate of others, quiet at home, like harmony, have a good sense of humor and think I’m easy to get along with.
The utilities are about $40 for basic cable and high-speed internet and about $40 per month for Con Ed depending on usage.
P.S. Legally, I can only have one roommate, so please do not contact me about sharing the bedroom.
Our apt in Bushwick will have a vacant room June 1st.

I’m a 22yo CF moving to New York from California. I would like to find some Catholic roommates to live and share my faith with – either finding a place together or taking an empty room. I’m looking to move in early-mid June with a budget around $1300 or less. I’m laid back, clean, and responsible and I don’t mind doing chores. I’d love to find some Catholic community out in NYC!
Hi, I’m a 22 year old CF journalist living in Brooklyn. I’m looking for either an apartment or a room in Manhattan, my budget is around $1,700. I’m career oriented, quiet and clean and I’m looking for a similar roommate who won’t bring the party home but is open to occasionally hanging out.
