Hey there!
I’m looking for an amazing roommate to rent the second bedroom in my apartment in South Williamsburg. You can move in as early as August 15th or I am also ok with September 1st. Time frame is flexible.
The room is 7.25’x11′ and has a window that faces the building courtyard. There is room for a queen bed and dresser/armoire, room has recessed lighting and is freshly painted. There isn’t a closet in the room but you can use the closet in the living room.
The apartment is located steps away from the JMZ train that will whisk you away to Manhattan in one stop. It is also right next to the Wburg bridge and a bus depot. 13 minute walk to Bedford Ave L where all the action is or 10 minutes walk to the L/G at Metropolitan. Cozy galley kitchen with new refrigerator, counter top dishwasher, compact washer and dryer, full size bathroom, lots of light and hard wood floors. Living room and kitchen are fully furnished in a feminine eclectic vibe. This apartment is on the 3rd floor of a walk up building.
[ about me + you ]I’m in my early thirties. I work in Greenpoint as a textile designer at a fashion company from 9-6. I also have my own business on the side, workout before or after work and volunteer so I am often quite busy. I’m clean in common areas and looking for the same in return. My home is my sanctuary, so I’m looking for someone who lives a healthy lifestyle and non-smoker.
I have a sweet small Persian cat. No other pets please. Open to male or female roommates.
[ move-in specifics ]Rent is $1250 utilities included. Move in costs are 1st + deposit = $2500
Preferably 6 months minimum. Hope to hear from you soon!
Hello, everybody!
My name is Laura, and I am looking for a housemate. My current housemate is moving out at the end of August, so the room will be available from September 1st. The room I am renting is bright and big, 216 square feet. There are two closets (one small and one medium) right outside the room. The room will likely be unfurnished, but my housemate is willing to talk to you if you want to keep some furniture. We would be sharing the kitchen and the bathroom (that has a bathtub). The room is located in an apartment building, which has more than 10 units. The building has an elevator, a laundry room, and a garage. It’s a 3 or 4-minute walk to the Q local train (Avenue U station) and a 10 -15- minute walk to the B express train (Kings Highway station). There are many delis, various kinds of stores, and a few supermarkets in this area. The building is safe and quiet. If you like biking or jogging, it’s a beautiful ride/jog to the beach and to Marine Park!
There are mostly families with their children and elderly people living in the building, so it is definitely not a party place. I am looking for a long-term roommate, at least 6 months. The monthly rent, which includes all bills is $827. In order to move you need to pay a returnable deposit of $827 and the first month of rent, also $827.
About me: I am a graduate student and a teacher, I am writing my dissertation. I don’t smoke, I clean after myself, I am respectful, quiet, friendly, polite, I pay all my bills on time and expect the same from my housemate. If interested, please contact me! Thank you.
Room available in a 3-bedroom apartment in Bed-Stuy (right on the border of Bushwick). The building is brand new- I was one of the first tenants! It’s very clean and modern, and the room is spacious and has large windows. There’s central AC and heating, laundry in the basement, roof and backyard patio access, and the J train is about 2 blocks away. Your roommates would be two other girls, both young professionals, and the building is full of very kind and friendly people! I’m looking to move mid-to-late- September, so dates can be flexible! Rent is 975$/month. Furniture is available for purchase or we can work something out!

Hi all, have 1 bedroom available in my 2 bedroom apartment for the remainder of the month of August. Rent is $1525/mo so I’d prorate it per day using that number. Quiet, clean apartment that is located in Murray Hill and close to the 6 train.
Thanks!
Two current roommates are both working in finance. The room opened up because current roommate is moving to Portland. We both are regular church attendees that work long hours. We keep the place quiet and clean. Also generally speaking we don’t do overnight guests, but we have enjoyed the occasional late night on poker nights.
Apartment:
– Decent size kitchen and shared living space
Location:
– Trader Joe’s is two avenues away; Whole Foods 1 avenue
– Two blocks to Central Park, 60-second walk to Riverside Park
– 4 or 5 blocks to the A/C/E at 23rd or 14th st
– 1 avenue from 1 train
– Laundry and gym nearby
We have a cleaning person that comes every 4-6 weeks that we all split. Utilities tend to be around $50-$90 for internet, gas, and electric depending on weather and A/C use.
We typically keep the place quiet after 9:30pm, Sunday through Thursday (one keep mate gets up a 5:30am for work), but don’t might having people over and being social.
The room is open starting Tuesday, August 1st for a min 6-month lease (need first month + deposit). We would be happy to meet you if you have an interest. We hope to find a good fit asap. Thanks for looking.
