One afternoon/evening per week, October through May
The Adeo Clubs is seeking volunteers interested in teaching Catholic catechism to children in Manhattan. Classes begin after school, usually at 3:30 or 4:30 pm, and are held from October through May. (A few classes meet after work hours, e.g. 5:30 or 6:30 pm, but most begin earlier.) There is a need for various grades and for sacrament preparation. Volunteers should be dynamic and enthusiastic Catholics who practice and will faithfully present what the Church teaches. No prior teaching experience necessary.
