We are now accepting bookings for 2019-’20 for award-winning soprano Andrea Lynn Cianflone (www.andrea-lynn.com, www.bedelightedtoday.com). We are also pleased to announce she will be making two debuts at Carnegie Hall this July and November in both the Weill Recital Hall and Stern Auditorium.
Cianflone’s career spans from opera to musical theater to crossover-pop as both a stage performer. She has been in operatic productions of Pagliacci, Stiffelio, Don Giovanni, Cavalleria Rusticana, and Lakmé. Cianflone played the role of Rachel in the world premiere musical Neighbors and the role of Maria Callas in the world premiere play/musical La Divina produced by Minnesota Concert Opera. She has been brought to the national spotlight through interviews, performances, and guest appearances on NBC, CBS, Lifetime, Sirius Satellite and her 2015 National Anthem performance at the St. Louis Rams vs. Browns NFL Game in St. Louis. She is the recipient of many prestigious awards and honors including the American Composer’s Forum Encore Grant, Schubert Club Grant, Anna-Maria Saritelli-DiPanni Bel Canto Voice Scholarship, the Metropolitan Opera National Council Minnesota District Encouragement Award, and Two Consecutive First Place Thursday Musical Voice Competition Awards. Cianflone equally enjoys the concert and recital stage, having sung for such places as the Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City, IDS Center Underglass Series, Art Song Preservation Society, the Minneapolis Women’s Club, and the Schubert Club Courtroom Concert Series.Cianflone is ecstatic about music performance, music education, and arts’ issues as it pertains to our society’s working class artists. Andrea is a humanitarian who has been an invited guest performer, speaker, and/or MC at numerous gala events nationally for a variety of organizations including Rotary, Emerging Global Leaders, BioEthics International, Templeton Foundation, Good Counsel Homes, Open Arms AIDS Charity, Peace House Foundation, Legatus, Lumen Institute, Benefits from the Heart at Mall of America Grand Rotunda, and World Youth Alliance.
