Primary Responsibility: Manage the gift reporting process to support the revenue functions across the Development Office. Provide support with gift acknowledgement, processing and redemption for the Capital Campaign
Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager; works closely with Director of Operations and Director of Leadership Giving
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement gift processing and pledge redemption guidelines and procedures
- Prepare gift activity reports, weekly and monthly financial reports and campaign reports supporting the various functions across the Development Office
- Provide support with gift acknowledgements, processing and redemption for the Capital Campaign, specifically tax receipt letters, donor letters, pledge redemption and general follow-up
- Process all gifts of stock, liaise with account broker and prepare acknowledgements
- Provide gift acknowledgement, processing and redemption for The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal, as needed
- Prepare invoices for outstanding pledges, tax receipt letters, acknowledgement letters, and general follow-up for the completion of the Bicentennial Campaign
- File required gift documentation in preparation for annual financial audit
- Assist in the implementation of policy formulation to support the daily operations of the Development Office
- Assist in the processing of all reporting requests from the Development Office to Donor Database Center
- Provide finance and budget systems support, as needed
Performance Standards:
- Represent the Archdiocese in a professional and positive manner
- Ensure that all acknowledgements are processed in a 48-hour timeframe
- Ensure all campaign gifts are recorded in a timely manner and tracking reports updated accordingly
- Prepare all financial reports in an accurate and timely fashion
- Maintain relationships with company contacts to ensure prompt communication
- Support the Director of Operations in generating financial reports.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Detailed and priority-oriented
- Self-motivated team player
