Purpose
Assist the Director and Associate Director of Human Resources by assuring accuracy of all Personnel records in Lawson.
Responsibilities
Assist in the various aspects of Staffing, Salary Administration, Performance Management, Employee Relations, and Lawson.
Administer human resources activities within the Human Resources Department.
Assist the Director of Human Resources in administering the staffing, compensation and employee relations components of the Human Resources strategic and operations plans and budget.
Performance Standards
Create and maintain position and employee records on the HRIMS for Central Services, in such areas as administration, compensation, benefits, training and development.
Maintain computer-based time and attendance records for all employees.
Process requisitions, prepare and distribute job postings, track resumes and identify potential candidates.
Prepare, schedule, and conduct New Employee Orientation sessions.
Processing of all new hires and coordinate employment processing with Payroll and Employee Benefits (Medical, Life, Supp. Life, FSA, QTB, STD, LTD, and AD&D).
Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures and related forms and post tem to the Human Resources website.
Prepare Annual Salary Increase Recommendation Packets and monitor responses.
Create internal forms and prepare internal notices and correspondence.
Process terminated employees.
Assist the Associate Director in resolving employee conflicts.
Prepare routine correspondence on behalf of employees, and respond to employee questions or concerns.
Develop and produce computer reports and analyses, as required.
Acquire and supervise temporary employees assigned to the department.
Perform various research projects using manual and automated means.
Manage, maintain, and enroll staff in the Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefit plans.
Manage, maintain, and enroll members in the Travel Insurance programs.
Clerical duties (filing, ordering office supplies, reception).
Education and Experience
Education Preferred: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources; PHR Certification.
Experience Preferred: 5 years of human resources administrative support. Background in Human Resources including, direct contact with employees, management, other departments and outside service providers. Strong knowledge of office automation technology.

Excellent analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills. Able to carry out multiple and diverse tasks concurrently. Excellent interpersonal skills.
