Primary Responsibility: The Manager of Scholarship Programs & School Relations works with Inner-City Scholarship Fund supported Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of New York and its stakeholders to administer and promote Inner-City’s scholarship programs and services
Direct Supervisor: Director of Development & Scholarship Programs
Responsibilities:
- Manage all scholarship programs
- Monitor and track student eligibility for the sponsorship program
- Organize annual graduation event
- Provide support for corporate and volunteer days
- Work with the Office Manager to disburse scholarship awards to schools
- Work with the Associate Director of Marketing and Communication to organize, create and distribute donor stewardship and recognition materials
- Work in collaboration with Coordinator, Sponsorship Programs
- Other projects as needed
Performance Standards:
- Maintains open and professional communication with school administrators and stakeholders
- Accurately tracks and monitors student eligibility
- Distributes grants in a timely manner
- Uses effective judgment and conduct in performing responsibilities
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Knowledge of personal computers including Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Intelligent, articulate and highly motivated self-starter with excellent inter-personal skills
- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented and strong work ethic
Personal Characteristics:
