The Development Office is looking for an Intern.

Primary Responsibility: Acts as support assistant to the Development Office, specifically working with Leadership Giving, Cardinal’s Appeal and Operations
Direct Supervisor: Director of Operations; works closely with Director of Leadership Giving and Director of Cardinal’s Appeal
Responsibilities:
- Assist with gift acknowledgement process and development of solicitation materials
- Promptly does all word processing, correspondence, staff and interoffice memos as requested by the Director
- Assist in all areas of the clean-up effort of office data in Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge
- Assist Operations Manager in maintaining inventory of all supplies and ordering as needed
- Schedule meetings and meeting rooms as requested
- Help update and maintain all filing systems for the Development Office
- Produces parish mailings as directed
- Assist in all aspects of special event coordination as requested
- Scanning of office files prior to current year
- Organize and maintain the storage closet
- Run errands to post office, stationary stores, etc. as needed
- Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree preferred or working towards a Bachelors degree
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Detailed and priority-oriented
- Self-motivated team player
- Proficient in Microsoft programs and Raiser’s Edge
