The NY Confraternity of Our Lady of Prompt Succor invites you to a solemn high traditional Latin requiem Mass in honor of Servant of God Reverend Fr. Vincent Robert Capodanno and all Holy Souls. Fr. Capodanno was born February 13, 1929 in Staten Island, NY and served as a Maryknoll Missioner and lieutenant. He was killed in action on September 4, 1967 while serving as a US Navy chaplain assigned to a Marine Corps infantry unit during the Vietnam War. Mass will take place at St. Michael’s, where Fr. Capodanno was baptized and raised. Please bring the names of your deceased to be read at Mass. Parking is available.
