Friday, December 8, 2017 – 7:30 PM – Solemn Mass
Saturday, December 9, 2017 – 5 AM Rorate Mass
It was on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (then celebrated on December 9th) that Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas and the unborn, first appeared to St. Juan Diego. The National Night of Prayer for Life bridges these two feasts to honor Our Blessed Mother and to pray for the sanctity of all human life.
The National Night of Prayer for Life is a pro-life prayer service consisting of exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, 20 decades of the Rosary, prayer to St. Michael, silent prayer and hymns.
7:30 PM – Traditional Latin Solemn High Mass, 1962 Missale Romanum
8:30 PM – Refreshments
9:30 PM – Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament; Sorrowful Mysteries of the Holy Rosary
10 PM – Glorious Mysteries
11 PM – Joyful & Luminous Mysteries
12 Midnight – Prayers, National Hour for Life
1 AM – Silent Adoration, 1st Break with Refreshments in Meeting Room, Donations Welcome!
2 AM – Prayers to the Holy Black Nazarene & Our Lady of Caysaysay
Chaplet of the Most Precious Blood
3 AM – Divine Mercy Chaplet
3:15 AM – Silent Adoration, 2nd Break,
4:15 AM – Procession & Benediction
5 AM – Rorate Candlelight Sung Mass in Latin, 1962 Missale Romanum
Glass candles will be sold for $6; proceeds will benefit the Shrine restoration appeal;
