Frassati Fellowship is helping the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal serve many families in need of groceries. This month, we are looking for help with two volunteering opportunities. We need volunteer drivers who can help with grocery shopping at Restaurant Depot in the Bronx and then deliver the groceries to the CFR Sisters in Harlem. If you would like to be a volunteer driver, you need to be able to lift heavy objects, such as 20 pound bags of rice, and have your own car to meet us at Restaurant Depot at 9 am. We’re also looking for food pantry volunteers who can help us sort and organize groceries. Food pantry volunteers can meet us at 10:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Angels Convent. When we’re finished volunteering, we will have the opportunity to pray with the Sisters and to have some fellowship!
