YOUNG ADULT RETREAT – WELCOMING THE NEW YEAR!

Young Adults in their 20s and 30s are invited to Malvern Retreat House for a weekend retreat to usher in the New Year! This New Years Retreat will be led by Fr. Emmanuel Mansford and Br. Samuel Thomas of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. The theme for the weekend will focus on the Incarnation as God’s ‘Yes’ to a broken and fallen humanity and Mary’s assent to become the Mother of God. The response and “fiat” of Mary to the Father’s will is a model for all of us in our call to welcome and allow the Word of God to become incarnate in our own lives.
The weekend will include Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the celebration of Holy Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, an opportunity for Confession and Spiritual Direction, free time to fellowship and enjoy the winter quiet and beauty of the retreat grounds, a night bonfire and New Years social, and more! Come be renewed in your faith, give thanks for the blessings of this year and welcome the New Year with a listening heart, open to God’s grace and in company with Mary, as we strive to give our wholehearted and unreserved Yes to Jesus Christ!

“This retreat is being offered to young adults at a reduced rate of $165 per person due to the generosity of our donors. Scholarship is available for those in need of further assistance. The full cost of this retreat is $210. For those who can afford the full amount, please consider making a donation to the young adult ministry at Malvern Retreat House to offset the costs of those who are in need, in order “that there may be equality.
