My mom, sister and 8 month old niece are visiting for the month of July. I am looking for a short term housing arrangement for them: at the least 2 weeks (July 1-15) or longer (July 1-26th). We are looking for something reasonably priced, and thus are flexible with the neighborhood. We are a Catholic family.
Large fully furnished room available in a two bedroom apartment in Washington Heights, to sublet for August 2017.
The apartment is fully furnished with a spacious living room, kitchen complete with utensils and a laundry machine. The other bedroom is occupied by an easy going Christian make-up artist.
The apartment is a two minute walk from the C line subway (163rd street), about ten minutes from D (145th) and 1 line (157th). There are also groceries store, laundromats, libraries, churches all very close by. It’s a very safe neighbourhood, with lots of families in the building.
We are looking for someone respectful (preferably Christian) to take over the room for August. $887.50 plus utilities.
More pictures or apartment viewings are available upon request.

I’m a recent CF musical theatre graduate coming to the city for my department’s senior showcase in May. I’ll be leaving in the beginning of June to walk the Camino De Santiago in Spain with some dear friends, so I am looking for a temporary place to stay in those couple weeks in-between. I will probably be busy with work and taking care of post-showcase business, so I won’t be in your way! Ideally looking for something in W Harlem/Washington Heights–but open to other locations a short distance from midtown.
Peace!
I’m coming to NYC for about a week (May 30-June 5) and am hoping to keep accommodations as cheap (or free) as possible and figured I’d reach out to the Catholic community as a possibility. A bit about me: I’m a 29-year old Catholic from the west coast of Canada (on an island just across the water from Seattle) and have been part of the university Catholic community here for 10 years. I have a great love for St. Faustina and Divine Mercy and went to WYD in Poland last summer. I’m a huge theatre nut and am coming to NYC pretty much entirely to see shows (so I’d probably be home late most evenings. In fact, I’m even planning on the 11:00 pm post-theatre mass at St. Malachy’s :P) but will have a lot of time in the daytimes to visit with you (if you want. Or I can go be busy if you want me out of your hair!)
Anyway, if you think you can help me out, send me an email! It’d be great to stay with some fellow people of faith 🙂
