Join Charis Ministries NYC, an Ignatian retreat ministry for and by Catholics in their 20s and 30s, for a weekend retreat focused on St. Ignatius Loyola’s approach to the discernment of spirits. Retreatants will try to listen to the Holy Spirit at work in their lives, their careers, their relationships. The retreat features plenty of time for personal prayer and reflection, small group faith sharing, communal prayer (including Saturday evening Sacrament of Reconciliation and Taize prayer and Sunday Mass), and opportunities to meet with spiritual directors to discern the movements of the Holy Spirit during the retreat. This will be held at the Loyola Jesuit Center in Morristown, NJ, easily accessible via New Jersey Transit’s Midtown Direct Line. Charis members will offer a free “taxi” service to help ferry retreatants from the train station to the retreat house 5 minutes away.
