This month, we will be discussing the lay response to the recent sex abuse crisis. What has the Church done to combat the crisis? What are some of its root causes? How can lay people help? How can we maintain our Catholic faith in the midst of scandal? We will be reading Pope Francis’s recent Letter to the People of God found here. Participants are strongly advised to read the selections prior to the meeting in preparation for the group discussion.
