Vita et Veritas will host a lecture by Steven Aden titled “Healthcare Rights of Conscience at the Crossroads: Constitutional & Statutory Protections for Pro-Life Practice”. Aden is senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom where he is director of the Center for Life Alliances. Since joining ADF, he has focused his litigation efforts on the sanctity of human life, free speech on public university campuses, and the constitutionality of faith-based initiatives. Aden earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a member of the bars of the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal circuit and district courts. Aden has also authored numerous law review articles on constitutional law and civil rights, and is a frequent media commentator.
