Hello everybody,
My name is Laura, and I am looking for a CF housemate. The room I am renting is bright and big, 216 square feet. There are two small closets right outside the room. We would be sharing the kitchen and the bathroom (that has a bathtub). The room is located in an apartment building, which has more than 10 units. The building has an elevator, a laundry room, and a garage. It’s a 3 or 4-minute walk to the Q local train (Avenue U station) and a 10 -15- minute walk to the B express train (Kings Highway station). There are many delis, various kinds of stores, and a few supermarkets in this area. The building is safe and quiet. There are mostly families with their children and elderly people living in the building, so it is definitely not a party place, and no overnight guest place, please. I am looking for a long-term roommate, at least 6 months.
The monthly rent is $750, utilities included. In the summer months when the AC is on, the electrical bill might be a bit higher. In order to move you need to pay a returnable deposit of $750 and the first month of rent, also $750. It’s ideal for a long term stay, at least 6 months.
About me: I am a graduate student and a teacher, I am writing my dissertation. I don’t smoke, I clean after myself, I am respectful, quiet, friendly, polite, I pay all my bills on time and expect the same from my housemate. God bless and best of luck with your search!
