The second installment of this popular lecture series on art, culture and beauty. Father John Saward from Oxford University presents the opening lecture, “The Poverty of the Church and the Beauty of the Liturgy: Is there a place for liturgical beauty in what Pope Francis calls ‘the Church that is poor and for the poor’?” The lecture is followed by a Q&A, reception and sung Compline, the Church’s nighttime prayer from the Divine Office.
