The Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal have been serving many families throughout this difficult time and they need help to be able to continue to serve them. Those who are served by the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal are in special need of groceries, and the Frassati Fellowship is assisting the Sisters by coordinating volunteers to help with grocery shopping. They are looking for volunteer drivers who can drive to Restaurant Depot in the Bronx, help with grocery shopping, and deliver the items to the CFR Sisters in Harlem. If you would like to volunteer, you need a car and to be able to lift heavy objects (such as 20 pound bags of rice). Volunteers also have the option to end the afternoon with Adoration at 12:30 p.m. Spots are limited, so please RSVP only if you can commit to serving.
