There are three main reasons to write: to write for yourself, to write for an audience, or to write for the public. This weekend writing retreat, with a focus on creative writing and memoir, is centered on
the belief that when writers leave behind the distractions of their busy lives and gather in a supportive community, they can make important breakthroughs in their writing.

The weekend will offer daily workshops, craft discussion, writing prompts, feedback, motivation, inspiration, and time to work on new or existing projects. Writers will sharpen their writing skills, meet
other exceptional writers, take walks with a view of the mountains and river, and have time for meals and plenty of breaks.
