Books & Brew: C.S. Lewis’s The Abolition of Man

Starting with 12 o’clock Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer
We will gather in the Vestibule before heading to a local establishment

Join us for our first Books & Brew Discussion. The Abolition of Man, perhaps C. S. Lewis’s most famous book, was published 75 years ago. It’s one of the most prescient books of the twentieth century, ranking alongside Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World in its continuing relevance to life in the twenty-first century. Lewis himself considered this book his favorite out of all his works.

Leading this discussion is Paul Kucharski, an assistant professor of philosophy at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY. He teaches a variety of courses in ethics and the history of philosophy and serves as the faculty advisor to the Manhattanville philosophy club.
