Bringing Blessed Black Saints to Life

November 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EST

Free

Join the Justice Committee of St. Francis de Sales Church as celebrate the lives of two saintly Black Catholics. Together, we will learn about the lives of Pierre Toussaint (1766-1853) and Sr. Thea Bowman (1937-1990). Wyneisha Huntt, MDIV and DEI professional, will offer a reflection on the impact of racial trauma on the faith and lives of Black Catholics and how their stories can inspire us to goodness. We hope you’ll join us as we take action on the causes for sainthood of Pierre Toussaint and Sr. Thea Bowman.

Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!
