Discovering the East: Akathist to the Mother of God (Theotokos)

Join St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church to learn and celebrate the Akathist Hymn, a hymn/prayer service in the Eastern Catholic Church for over 1400 years. Explanation by Fr. Jack Custer at 6:30 p.m., celebrate the Akathist Hymn at 7:30 p.m., light refreshments and freewine following the Akathist.
