Why does the Church believe that? How can I explain this to others? D&D is a collaborative group where young adults come together to work through tough issues from the Catholic perspective! This month’s topic is Homosexuality. What does the Church teach? What are the distinctions between homosexual persons and homosexual acts? How can the Church minister to those in the LGBTQ community? The readings are (1) sections 2357-2359 in the Catechism found here; and (2) CDF Letter on Pastoral Care of Homosexual Persons found here. Participants are required to read the material prior to the meeting. Please join for pizza and fellowship, followed by drinks at a local establishment.
