Get a (Spiritual) Life – Through the Lens of Mercy: Art, Works & Our Gifts

June 28, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - June 30, 2016 @ 9:00 pm EDT

Pope Francis has called all Catholics to celebrate a special “Jubilee Year of Mercy” throughout our worldwide Church. He has invited all of us to look closer at the Face of Mercy—Jesus Christ! Get a (Spiritual) Life will help you identify and experience Christ’s mercy in your life and in turn how you can live out mercy in the real world and share Christ’s mercy with others through your spiritual gifts and talents.

Tuesday, June 28th – Mercy in Art
Seminarian Eric Wandrey to lead reflections on works of art portraying Christ, the Face of Mercy, and other images of people who have experienced Christ’s mercy.

Wednesday, June 29th – Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy
Sisters of Charity, Sr. Sheila Brosnan and Sr. Mary McCormick will lead scriptural reflections on the spiritual and corporal works of mercy and how we can incorporate these in the context of our everyday lives.
