Harvest Dine-Around to benefit POTS
November 13, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST$175
Reward your taste-buds with the culinary samplings of the Club Chefs of Westchester. These philanthropic chefs are teaming up with Part of the Solution (POTS) to raise critical funds to help New Yorkers living in poverty. Join us for the Harvest Dine-Around on Tuesday, November 13 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm at Hampshire Country Club, 1025 Cove Road, Mamaroneck, New York.
Now in its seventh year, the Harvest Dine-Around spotlights an array of modern cuisine and comfort favorites in the true spirit of the harvest season, featuring selections from several local country clubs, including some local clubs in the Rye area (Manursing Island Club, Shenorock Shore Club & American Yacht Club) as well as Baldor Specialty Foods, wine purveyors, craft beer facilities and many more. Each representative will showcase their special dishes, wines, beer or desserts, and guests are strongly encouraged to sample them all.
“The POTS Harvest Dine-Around has become an incredibly important annual tradition during the fall season. Proceeds from this event help our neighbors in poverty move to greater stability and self-sufficiency,” said Christina Hanson, POTS Interim Executive Director.
This year POTS is proud to honor Baldor Specialty Foods for their tireless support of POTS’ community and those in need throughout the tri-state area. Baldor Specialty Foods is one of the largest importers and distributors of fresh produce and specialty foods in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Beginning as Balducci’s fruit stand in Greenwich Village in 1946, Baldor maintains its original promise – curate and deliver the best and freshest foods in the world. In 2003, Orender was named the 33rd president of the PGA of America. He was inducted into the PGA Hall of Fame and awarded the Herb Graffis Award in 2005 and last year he was awarded the PGA Legend Award.
