The first annual Lepanto Conference will be hosted by the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, Connecticut, where many Catholic highschool and college students, young professionals, and religious from all over the East Coast are expected to attend. Three guest speakers will explore this year’s theme – A Sign of Contradiction: Catholic Identity in the Modern World, after which Mass will be celebrated in the beautiful and historic Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. After Mass a procession will occur throughout Waterbury with a relic of Pope Saint Pius V, the holy Saint responsible for the historic victory of Lepanto. A complimentary lunch will follow the Mass, where attendees will have the opportunity to meet other young Catholics and socialize. Confessions will be held throughout.
