Fr. Agustino Miguel Torres is the Director of Evangelization for the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, co-founder of Catholic Underground, founder of Corazon Puro and the Executive Director of Casa Juan Diego, an outreach to the poor in Yonkers, NY. He is known for his ardent zeal in bringing the light of Christ to youth all around the world. Growing up on the border of Texas and Mexico, he lived a fast-paced life until the Lord helped him to see the emptiness in the life he was living. In a span of two years he saw a number of his friends die in accidents, suicide, gang- and drug-related violence. He, himself, had some brushes with death that helped him begin to ask some deeper questions. Nashville’s His Own will perform music this night.
