The history of our nation is intrinsically linked to it, and yet 230 years after the Constitution, the hotbed issue has never felt so unresolved. This fall, in the spirit of bestselling author and Trappist monk Thomas Merton (CC’38, GSAS’39), Colombia Catholic Ministry welcomes alumnus William P. Mumma of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty (Hosanna-Tabor v. EEOC, Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores Inc., Holt v. Hobbs) for a free exchange of ideas on one of our time’s most consequential subjects.
