Robert Ellsberg lecture: “”Dorothy Day, Oscar Romero, and New Faces of Holiness Today.”

April 25, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

On the heels of the recent Vatican announcement of the approval of the canonization of Archbishop Oscar Romero, Robert Ellsberg will examine the meaning of sainthood and the models of holiness necessary for our time. Mr. Ellsberg, publisher of Orbis Books and award-winning author of many books on saints, will probe these topics and share his insights on specific figures who have particularly inspired him.

The lecture is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow. Registration is required.

This is the Inaugural Dr. J. T. Vincent Lou Lecture which is made possible by a generous gift that enables the Dominican Sisters of Sparkill to offer educational opportunities on social justice topics at Dominican Convent in Sparkill, NY.
