“What’s love got to do with it?” An evening of music and conversation
Samuel Rocha, professor of Philosophy of Education, Folk Musician, and editor of Patheos Catholic, in conversation with Rose Tomassi, PhD candidate in English at The Graduate Center, CUNY, will discuss how our understanding of education can adequately respond to the mysterious phenomenon of the human person. He will show how our experience of education, like jazz, depends on unpredictability, improvisation, and freedom to explore, integrating performances of pieces from his January 2016 album Fear and Loving.
