To celebrate the Solemnity of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, the weekly Dominican Rite Mass on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer will be a Solemn High Mass in the Dominican Rite. The Mass will be sung by the Parish’s schola cantorum and celebrated and served by the Dominican Friars at the Parish of St. Vincent Ferrer and St. Catherine of Siena. All are welcome!

St. John the Baptist has two feast days in the liturgical calendar: one commemorating his birth (June 24) and the other his death (August 29). There are only three nativities observed in the Roman Catholic calendar: for Jesus, for Mary, and for the Baptist.
