September 18, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

The Faith and Ethics forum invites all Students of the Health Professions (medical and nursing students as well as interns, residents, and fellows) to hear Sr. Margaret Oettinger, Director of the Spiritual Care Team at Hospital for Special Surgery, speak about spiritual care for the hospital community. The event is from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at St. Dominic Hall of the church of St. Catherine of Siena. Light refreshments will be served. There is no charge for this series but an RSVP email is required.

About the Faith and Ethics Forum: It is a series of small group discussions facilitated by the Dominican Friars Health Care Ministry of New York. Monthly discussions provide a vehicle and a place where medical and nursing students and all students of the health professions (including interns, residents and fellows) of all faiths can come together for discussions about faith and contemporary ethical issues in health care which affect their lives as persons and as clinicians in a continuously changing health care delivery system.

For more information or if you would like to participate please contact Bro. Ignatius Perkins, OP, Executive Director (brotherignatius@dfhcmny.org) or one of the Student Coordinators: Grace McInerney (gemac612@gmail.com), Jessica Edgecomb (Jessica_Edgecomb@nymc.edu).
