Gun Violence and the Police: A New York Perspective

Join Magee Hickey for a discussion with Detective Sergeant Steven McDonald, who was shot in the line of duty in 1986 and left paralyzed. Thirty years later he will share his story of forgiveness, and his thoughts on gun violence and the police. Sergeant McDonald will be joined by his wife, Patti Ann McDonald, their son Det. Sgt. Conor McDonald, and former NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly. Following the discussion will be a Q&A and book signing.
