Hi Ladies,
I am looking for an apartment on the UES and would love to find a (future) roommate to search with.
My budget is roughly $2000, and I would like to find someone with a similar budget.
A little about me:
I am in my late-twenties, and have been living in the city for about 2 years now. I work in consulting.
Personality-wise, I am pretty laid-back, tidy, practicing Catholic, fun, athletic.
If you’re looking for an apartment and a roommate, would love to hear from you.

BUILDING:
The building is on a very QUIET and charming tree lined block, facing a beautiful tree garden. To hear birds chirping when open the window it’s just special to me in the middle of the City 🙂
– I love the fact that is NOT facing a loud NYC street, this is a big plus for me in Manhattan, after living in Midtown East and Murray Hill for many years 🙂
Building has an ELEVATOR, beautiful renovated spacious lobby with double glass doors and high entrance stoops, high ceilings and is always kept very clean by the superintendent.
I’ve lived here for over 4 years now, and I feel very safe and comfortable living here.
All the neighbors are nice, quiet and respectful. My apartment is the only one on the back side of the building, so I don’t even have any immediate neighbors next to me at either side, just 2 neighbors across from the hallway. It is the perfect living situation and I feel very grateful and lucky to live here!
It is ONLY 1 BLOCK from the East River and the beautiful Carl Schurz Park!!!
Green oasis by the river, perfect place to relax or go for a run or walk…
AREA/ TRANSPORTATION:
This is such a great location!
It is a super safe neighborhood – NYC Mayor’s residence ( The Gracie’s Mansion is close by), multiple grocery stores, drug stores open 24/7, all kinds of restaurants, bars, gyms, Carl Schurz Park, dry cleaners (free pick-up and delivery) and transportation.
Subways 4,5,6 and the new 2nd Avenue Subway!
Just few minutes walk from the building!
Crosstown Bus M79 and SBS M86 that connects to B, C and 1 trains,
Express bus SBS M15 and local bus M15 – running up 1st Avenue and down 2nd Avenue
Bus M31 that goes from York Avenue to the West Side ( all the way to 11th Avenue):
MOVE IN DATE: October 1, 2020
LEASE TERMS : my current leases ends February 28, 2021
with an option to renew for another year
ABOUT ME:
Working professional, in my late 30’s, very clean, respectful and easy going; with a full time job, Masters Degree, excellent credit history and references.
I have a cleaning lady that comes regularly to clean the apt and my room ( PS: You don’t need to contribute to that cost if not interested in having her clean your room.)
I’ve lived in NYC for more than 15 years and I love living here!
ABOUT YOU:
professional, mature, stable job, clean, respectful, with good references..
No party, smoking/drugs in the apartment at any time please
No frequent overnight guests, no loud music or other behavior that could be disturbing to me or the neighbors in the building please…
I believe an apartment should feel like a home, we don’t need to be best friends, but at least we should get along at minimum 🙂
I work long hours, have many hobbies and a busy social life, so when I finally come home I just like to relax and I never bring the party home 🙂
CONTACT ME:
Please EMAIL me if interested- if want to meet me in person and see the room.
Please include:
1. your full name
2. your phone number
3. few lines about yourself – where do you work, how long you’ve been in NY, and anything else you want to share (LinkedIn profile, social media links, previous landlord references etc..)
I will be showing the room this week, from my previous experience it rents fast 😉
Thank you
Kate

Room available in Spacious, 3 Bedroom Apartment in Williamsburg
Skillman Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn, 11211
Roommate Wanted/ September 28, 2020
Room available for CF in Spacious, 3 Bedroom Apartment in Williamsburg
We will have a room available in our 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Apartment beginning in mid October. The apartment is incredibly spacious and bright, with an open concept living room, separate dining alcove, balcony, and a large, well-appointed kitchen. Each bedroom is a good size and has ample closet space, (in addition to a basement storage room). The master bedroom has a private bath, so you would only share with one other person.
We would prefer someone who is looking to stay long term, though we understand that many things are up in the air right now.
Location: The apartment is three blocks from the Graham Ave L train, twelve minutes to Union Square. The G is a twelve minute walk at Metropolitan.
The neighborhood is traditionally Italian and has a nice mix of families and young professionals. There are great bars, restaurants and coffee shops within two blocks. The neighborhood has excellent grocery stores, bakeries and specialty stores as well. There are three lovely parks, two within close walking distance, all with farmer’s markets and activities. The waterfront is a thirty minute walk or ten minute drive. Our local parish also has adoration every day and in the evening.
A little bit about us: We are two devout Catholic women in our mid twenties. I am a graduate student in ethics and my roommate is a transportation engineer. We work standard hours with some later evenings occasionally. We enjoy creating a welcoming and peaceful home.
We would love to find someone who we could share dinners and activities with, while also respecting privacy and alone time. We are tidy, do not smoke and have no pets.
Please reach out to us with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!!
