Happy New Year! I’m moving into the City this fall. I’m hoping to live in the Financial District, or nearby surrounding area, starting sometime in August. I have a stable job in lower Manhattan, no pets, and consider myself to be a fairly accommodating roommate. I’m eager to get involved in the Catholic community, to enjoy all that NYC has to offer young adults, and to make some new friends outside of work. I do not have a place yet, but I am actively searching for apartments in the realm of $1400 (though I am open to flexibility on this). If you’re interested, let’s connect to see if it’ll work out!
I am a 21-year old CM who will be graduating from the University of Virginia in May and moving up to NYC starting at the beginning of July. I will be working in finance in Midtown and would love to room with another Christian man who is active in his faith. I am tidy, responsible, and amiable, and I am also a huge sports fan who would be interested in joining a local men’s basketball league or going to Yankees/Rangers/Knicks games throughout the year. I plan to look for apartments in Manhattan (or Brooklyn) during my spring break at the beginning of March, so please contact me if you are at all interested!
We are a group of Christian female friends and artists looking for a new roommate to share a room. The unit has 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms on the top floor, a huge open kitchen, dining room, living room, and half bath on the main floor, a backyard garden space, and a basement that we turn into a lounge space for reading, praying, practicing voice and guitar, and just an additional place to retreat if you need to get away from living with so many people. Rent is $737.50 (utilities included), which seems like a lot for sharing a room with 2 other girls, but honestly for the size of the space, so close to express trains, with a dishwasher and washer/dryer in-unit, IN Manhattan– it’s totally worth it! This is perfect for artists, students, young professionals, or new entrepreneurs trying to save some money while surviving the big city. Some of us have been sharing rooms for the past 3 years, and it’s seriously been the best experience– think impromptu karaoke and dance parties. We really just see our rooms as a place to sleep at the end of the night, and spend most of our personal time in the common spaces throughout the house. Hoping to find another generous, fun-loving female to join us! If you’re looking for community and convenience, and want to save money, come check our house out! Available immediately.
