Overview: For over 200 years, the Archdiocese of New York has preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ to millions of people from every conceivable background and ethnicity. Position Purpose: Reporting to a Senior Manager, the Campaign Manager oversees a portfolio of parishes running the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal (CASA), parish-based capital campaigns, or increased offertory campaigns. The campaign manager is responsible for helping pastors to meet their fundraising goals, which can range between $50,000 and $2,000,000 depending on the campaign they are running. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
- Help provide financial strength and stability to the Archdiocese of New York and its parishes by assisting in raising money for necessary capital projects, operational expenses, debt reduction, or to enhance reserves for future needs
- Meet regularly with pastors across the archdiocese to design a tailored approach in order to help the parish reach its fundraising goals
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing participation in assigned parishes
- Attend weekly staff meetings and report on individual parish progress
- Attend parish-based meetings, which can occur on some evenings and weekends
- Identification and advancement of prospects who have the capacity for greater giving
- Data management and analysis with the goal of maximizing fundraising efforts
- Draft and prepare tailored correspondence for individual parishes
- The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal:
- Consult with 40 to 60 parishes to achieve their monetary and participation annual fund goals
- Prioritize closing gifts in the $500-$5,000 range
- Articulate the Cardinal’s Appeal message in a way that resonates with parishioners
- Assist pastor in establishing volunteer teams at parishes to maximize fundraising efforts
- Capital Campaign:
- Help parishes raise funds required to achieve their most pressing needs
- Prioritize securing pledges in the $25,000-$250,000 range
- Assist pastor in establishing leadership committees tasked with engaging prospects to commit to the campaign
- Proactively manage all parish level solicitations
- Increased Offertory Campaign:
- Workwith parishes on proven methods to enhance their collections, with the goal of increasing their regular offertory by 20% or more
- Emphasize stewardship as an integral component to the success of the campaign
- Special projects and events as needed
Standards of Performance:
- Achieve financial and other non-monetary goals (i.e. participation, volunteer team establishment) with a measurable increase over the prior year’s results
- Build and maintain relationships with pastors, parish staff, and volunteers
- Submit detailed parish analytical and statistical reports during the campaign in a timely fashion
- Identify 20 leadership gift prospects per year
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- One to three years professional work experience
- Driver’s license required as driving is a necessity for visiting assigned parishes

Position Purpose: Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Chief of Staff assists the Executive Director with departmental goal-setting and strategic initiatives, daily operations of the office, and relationship management with internal constituencies.

Overview: The Front Desk Associate plays a key role in welcoming pastors, donors, and other guests to the development office and provides the highest level of customer service for all donor calls and inquiries.

Essential Position Responsibilities:
- Receive visitors to the development office by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
- Communicate with the security team on visitor preparation and arrival
- Manage incoming English, Spanish, and bilingual phone calls for the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal and Renew + Rebuild campaigns and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner. These requests could include but are not limited to:

Mission:
The Office of Youth Ministry supports parish, school and church leaders in their mission to build young disciples of Jesus Christ. We do this through trainings, formation of leaders, networking, support, consulting and events for youth and youth leaders. The Office Administrator will be a key component of the Youth Ministry Team working closely with the Director and Associate Director to manage the day to day running of the office. While the position largely consists of office work, the office administrator will also assist with event planning and preparations as needed and will attend and work some events, particularly New York Catholic Youth Day and youth ministers’ gatherings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform varied administrative duties requiring knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs and procedures related to the work of the Office of Youth Ministry to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the office.

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Data Systems and the Rector of St. Joseph’s Seminary, this position will be responsible for providing end user support and network assistance on a Windows based network within the office and Saint Joseph’s Seminary (SJS) of the Archdiocese of New York. The Level III Technician relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedures to identify, research, and resolve technical issues presented by users at both locations and remotely at the Seminary’s location in Huntington.
Position Locations:
Position will be based 3 days per week at SJS in Yonkers & 2 days at the Catholic Center at 1011 1st Ave, NYC.
Position’s core hours will be 1:00-9:00 PM at SJS and 9:00 AM -5:00 PM at 1011.

- Set up, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS desktop and notebook computers
